Our friends at Georgia Southern Request Help on a Study!
Professor Tim Cairney, on the faculty of Georgia Southern University and an IMA
member, is conducting a study to publish on the movement of businesses to BYOD
(Bring Your Own Device) policies at companies. If your organization has
implemented BYOD or has discussed it in the past year, regardless of whether it was
implemented or not, please take a minute to contact tcairney@georgiasouthern.
edu and offer help. Professor Cairney is seeking information on the decision factors
that led to adoption or rejection of BYOD

June 22nd-26th is the IMA 94th Annual National Convention and Exposition,
with the usual full slate of networking and professional education opportunities. Even
More exciting, this year the Convention will be held in New Orleans, well within driving
distance of most of our Gulf South Chapters. Registration begins January 28th.

The UGA Continuing Ed Division is following up it's successful launch of CMA Exam
Prep courses. Part I started in February with strong attendance, and now
registration is open for the latest course dates on the Website. The dates are:
